How To Be  Hopeful To The End
Hebrews 6:10-12

Hopelessness is a feeling of despair or lack of hope that life can feel better than it has been.

The people progression of hopelessness…
PARENTS..…PEERS..…SELF…..GOD…..NIHILISM


Nihilism is the rejection of all religious and moral principles, in the belief that life has no meaning and therefore is hopeless.

Hebrews 6:13-20


1. Faith

Few thoughts about faith…

a) our faith is not in our faith/religious traditions
b) our faith is not in ourselves
c)  our faith is a verb
d) our faith is in God

1) His promise is rooted in “Surely I will…”
2) His purpose hasn’t changed, v. 16-17
3) Our hope has a name, v. 19

Two things about the order of Melchizedek…

a) eternal nature
b) dual office- King/Priest


2. Patience, v. 15

Mental worship…

1. How often do you feel sluggish spiritually?
2. What part of speech is your faith? Noun, adjective, verb, preposition, adverb? 
3. What do you think is God’s purpose for your life? 
4. If God were trying to convince you that something is really true, what would that thing be?
5. How is your soul these days?
6. Do you have religious traditions or an actual relationship with a real God?
